Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Data Protection Officer, and long-time tech enthusiast. I lead with clarity, solve problems efficiently, and keep systems secure without unnecessary noise.

My Background

I've been navigating the world of information security and data protection for over 25 years now. My journey started way back in the early '90s, when I was learning the ropes of logistics from 1992 to 1995. It might seem like a long way from cybersecurity, but understanding how things move and connect laid a solid foundation.

My real dive into tech started even earlier. In the 1980s, I watched the movie War Games, and that sparked something in me. I got my hands on a Commodore microcomputer soon after, and I was hooked. Inspired by what I saw on screen, I threw myself into programming and hacking. What began as curiosity turned into a deep passion that shaped my entire career.

Since then, I’ve worn many hats: IT manager, security lead, strategist. I’ve worked across different industries, built up teams, and shaped security programs from the ground up. Along the way, I’ve picked up a solid toolbox, from deep tech know-how to a sharp understanding of management frameworks and standards.

What Drives Me

I'm not the type who sticks to one lane. I like to think across systems, solve complex problems, and keep things running without drama. That is what I’ve always done, and what I still enjoy doing every day.
